Jelusick held two spectacular performances in South Korea and wrote a new important page in their story.
The tour in South Korea was held as part of the international project Odyssey, which connects the
European and Asian rock scenes.
The first performance was at the JUMF festival on August 16 in the city of Jeonju, one of the most
important music festivals in Korea, where in front of more than 12 thousand people the band
completely won over the audience with their energetic performance. Three days later, on August 19, a
concert followed in Seoul in a sold-out legendary Rolling Hall club – a place where the biggest names of
the Korean music scene have honed their careers. Jelusick performed before the band YB, the biggest
rock band in South Korea and judging by the audience's reactions it is clear that Jelusick is a name that
will continue to be talked about a lot in that country. The concerts attracted the attention not only of
fans but also of the media. Of particular note was the guest appearance on MBC Radio (Korean national
radio), on Bae Chul-Soo’s Music Camp – a cult program that has hosted music giants such as Metallica,
BTS, Rihanna, Oasis and Duet Lipa. Jelusick’s inclusion in this prestigious circle confirms that the band is
increasingly putting itself on the world map.
“The audience in Korea is incredibly enthusiastic and we felt phenomenal on stage. We are already
planning to return,” said Dino.
The tour also brought something that goes beyond the performances themselves – new friendships and
future collaborations. The most important is certainly the connection with the band YB, led by the
famous Yoon Do Hyun and the energetic female band Rolling Quartz and that story reached the Croatian
audience. Croatia hosted both bands at the end of August: on August 23 at Špancirfest in Varaždin, on
August 25 in Rijeka at Trsat Castle, on August 27 at Boogaloo in Zagreb and on August 31 in Valpovo,
where Jelusick joined them on the stage.
The trip to South Korea came after a series of concerts and festivals that Jelusick held this summer
across Europe and on the eve of the release of the new studio album "Apolitical Ecstasy", which will see
the light of day on September 19th and whose concert promotion in Zagreb will be held on October 11
at the Boogaloo club.
